چکیده

Virtual Organizations are novel mechanisms where agents can demonstrate their social skills, due to the fact that they can work in a cooperative and collaborative way. Furthermore, organizations are frameworks where agents can achieve different types of agreements. But the development of organizations in MAS (Multi-Agent Systems) requires extensive experience in different methodologies and platforms. MDD (Model Driven Development) is a technique for generating application code developed from basic models and meta-models using a variety of automatic transformations. This paper presents a meta-model of Virtual Organization (of agents) using concepts and components at a suitable level of abstraction so that it can be implemented on different systems following a MDD approach. Based on this idea, a service-oriented organizations meta-model that is platform independent is presented. As an example, two model transformations that allow the unified model of the virtual organization to be translated into two different platforms are shown, facilitating the development process of agent-based software from the point of view of the user.

Towards the Development of Agent-Based Organizations through MDD

ions for conceptual and computational modeling. Thus, the developers often require the necessary acquisition of new skills to understand and design with the MAS methodologies. As a consequence, the creation of applications is very hard and difficult for the MAS developer, because there is no agreement about a common group of components that can be used across different MAS methodologies and pla...

MDD-Approach for developing Pervasive Systems based on Service-Oriented Multi-Agent Systems

Multi-agent systems Virtual organizations Pervasive Systems Model-Driven Development The development of Ubiquitous or Pervasive Systems can be considered a complex task, with multiple actors, devices and different hardware environments; where it is difficult to find a compact view of all the components. This work proposes to use a MDD (Model-Driven Development) approach to facilitate the develo...

Real Effort, Real Leisure and Real-time Supervision: Incentives and Peer Pressure in Virtual Organizations

We propose a novel approach to the analysis of organizations by developing a computerized platform that reproduces relevant features of existing organizations such as real-effort tasks and real-leisure alternative activities (Internet). In this environment, we find strong incentives effects as organizations using individual incentives significantly outperform those relying on team incentives. C...

A combination of semantic and attribute-based access control model for virtual organizations

A Virtual Organization (VO) consists of some real organizations with common interests, which aims to provide inter organizational associations to reach some common goals by sharing their resources with each other. Providing security mechanisms, and especially a suitable access control mechanism, which enforces the defined security policy is a necessary requirement in VOs. Since VO is a complex ...
